Catching up and closing up

The packers came today and swarmed our house, it only took them 5 hours to pack our house where it would have taken me 5 weeks! I am so thankful we were able to have help packing. It is weird sitting in your home, surrounded by boxes, it is your home, but it doesn't feel like home.

Before we hit the road for the next few weeks traveling all over Missouri (visiting family and squeezing in a few nights in Branson) and back-and-forth to Ohio (unloading truck without the kids then coming back to STL for Thanksgiving and to retrieve the kids) I thought I would catch up this little thing called a blog, that I have neglected. The pictures below will catch up our last few months

Payton got to go with us for our final visit to Ohio and she loved staying in a hotel and getting a fun surprise just for her!

Trying to fit in as much KC sports as we can before the move

Note the little feel sticking out, little guy is not short on attention

These 2 are in the same size diapers and have even shared PJ's

We had a lake trip with Eric and Michelle and Steve and I got to have a much needed boat ride alone!

Finding the perfect pumpkin

Enjoying the Royals in post-season

Celebrating 10 years of marriage in October

I had to hunt this scarf down all the way in Florida, KS and MO were out everywhere (a great Target find). So thankful for girlfriends in Florida who will ship it to me since you couldn't even buy online.

Surprising my Father-in-law in St. Louis for his retirement party

Praise the Lord my husband shot a deer!

Last trip to Cider Mill

Family in town for our last Sunday at The Creek

Papa and Granny Coats got to visit and hear Steve preach

Aunt Janet, my mother-in-law, Cousin Lindsey and her husband Craig

We have had many goodbyes, and we have been so blessed with many times of prayer over us. We have been so blessed by the people of Indian Creek and Salem during this time of transition.

Some great friends from our going away party

Michelle sneaking in one more visit to see the kids before they pulled out of town for good.
